Qualifikationen

• Partner-level Construction lawyer with experience across contentious and non-contentious work.
• Strong technical capability and commercial judgement.
• Proven ability to win work and build trusted client relationships.
• Appetite to build a department, including hiring, mentoring and shaping a team culture.

Aufgaben

• Establishing and leading a new construction department, including defining service lines and growth plans.
• Managing a caseload of construction matters across contentious and non-contentious work.
• Advising clients on risk, strategy and commercial outcomes, delivering practical, solutions-led advice.
• Building and developing client relationships, referrer networks and internal cross-referral routes.
• Supporting wider firm growth through marketing, profile-raising and business development activity.
• Supervising, mentoring and developing team members as the department grows.
• Ensuring matters are progressed efficiently, with clear cost communication and strong client care.
• Maintaining strong financial management across WIP, billing and cash collection.
