Job summary

Gowling WLG in Birmingham is seeking a Paralegal to join our Non-Contentious Construction team. You'll support fee earners, clients and Partners, handling administrative aspects of transactions and ensuring a seamless client experience.

The role focuses on non-contentious construction, including reviewing JCT contracts, identifying risks, and escalating issues, while delivering high-quality work and excellent service in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Paralegal experience, preferably in non-contentious construction.
• Strong eye for detail and ability to support fee earners and Clients.

Responsibilities

• Support fee earners, clients and Partners in a non-contentious fixed-fee practice.
• Assist with administrative aspects of transactions and ensure a seamless client experience.
• Review construction documentation (e.g., JCT contracts) and identify risks or inconsistencies.
• Escalate issues clearly and work with the wider team to keep matters progressing smoothly.
