Job summary

Gowling WLG is seeking a Paralegal to join the Non-Contentious Construction team in London or Birmingham. The role focuses on the administrative side of our fixed-fee practice, supporting fee earners, clients and Partners to keep transactions running smoothly.

You will review construction documents and assist with ensuring detail and accuracy, with flexibility on hybrid working arrangements across London and Birmingham offices.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in non-contentious construction work.
• Detail-driven approach to supporting fee earners.
• Comfortable taking the lead on the first review of construction documents, including JCT contracts and wider building agreements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative tasks to support the non-contentious fixed-fee practice and keep transactions running efficiently.
• Lead on the first review of construction documents, including JCT contracts, and identify issues and escalation points with clarity and accuracy.
