Galliford Try is seeking a Construction Manager to lead high-performance teams on the AMP 8 Design & Build projects in the Bournemouth region. You will coordinate resources, manage subcontractors, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards as part of a large principal contractor framework.

The role requires strong project management, civil/mechanical/electrical background, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing multiple teams on civil/mechanical/electrical projects.
• Strong project management skills with track record of delivery.
• Desirable membership in a relevant professional body.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate constructability input during design phases.
• Plan and allocate construction staff and resources efficiently.
• Manage site resources including labour, plant and materials.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and relationships.
• Ensure work complies with safety legislation and quality plans.
