Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for our Structural Technologies Department at Slough and Langley campuses. The role is part-time, term-time only, 30 hours per week over 37 weeks per year, with a pro-rata salary on Scale G (G17 to G19).

You will support students to access the curriculum and develop English, mathematics and ICT skills. Essential qualifications include Level 2 GCSEs in English and Maths; experience supporting individuals with learning

Qualifications

• Level 2 GCSEs in English and Maths required.
• Experience supporting learners with EHCPs or learning difficulties is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, delivery and evaluation of learning activities.
• Support individual students or small groups as needed.
• Help with assignments, exam preparation and developing English, Maths and ICT skills.
• Monitor student behaviour and maintain confidentiality records.
• Adapt learning materials and support use of specialist equipment.

Education

GCSE English (A-C) or equivalent

GCSE Mathematics (A-C) or equivalent

Experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties (Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia)
