Job summary

OnlyFE is seeking a Work Placement Development Officer (Construction) to support the delivery of work placements for students in construction trades such as Plumbing, Electrical Installation, Joinery and Brickwork. The role runs for 6 months on a fixed‑term basis with 37 hours per week and flexible hours considered.

The post holder will identify, develop and manage employer partnerships, coordinate placement activity, monitor learner progress and ensure all placements meet quality, safeguarding

• Organised, proactive individual with excellent administration skills.
• Experience coordinating, managing and monitoring a varied workload.
• Ability to build relationships with employers and learners across sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage employer partnerships to secure high‑quality placements.
• Coordinate placement activity and monitor learner progress.
• Ensure placements meet quality, safeguarding and health and safety requirements.
• Promote the value of industry placements to employers and learners.
• Travel to employer sites across the UK as required.
