Job summary

Think FE Ltd in Northampton is seeking a Work Placement Coordinator Construction to secure high-quality work experience and Industry Placements for students. You will collaborate with construction employers, curriculum teams and Careers colleagues to deliver placements and oversee related activities.

The role requires building links with employers, arranging masterclasses and monitoring hours to meet funding rules. A valid driving licence and own transport are expected.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Experience working with employers or clients.
• Strong links to, or experience within, the construction sector.
• Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and HSE standards.
• Full clean driving licence and access to your own transport.

Responsibilities

• Source and support work experience and Industry Placements within construction.
• Build relationships with employers and other key stakeholders.
• Arrange masterclasses, careers talks, interview practice and virtual work experiences.
• Monitor placement hours to ensure funding requirements are met.
• Check placement providers can offer appropriate supervision and a safe working environment.
• Work closely with curriculum teams to identify suitable placement opportunities.
