The Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Work Placement Development Officer (Construction) to support the delivery of work placements for full-time students studying construction trades, including Plumbing, Electrical Installation, Joinery and Brickwork.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract focused on building and strengthening relationships with construction employers across the region to secure high-quality industry placements.

The successful candidate will work closely with curriculum teams, employers and Business Development colleagues to ensure students gain valuable workplace experience and support the College s strategic objective of achieving 100% work placement participation for construction students by June 2027.

The postholder will identify, develop and manage employer partnerships, coordinate placement activity, monitor learner progress and ensure all placements meet quality, safeguarding and health and safety requirements.
