Job summary

Tudor Employment Agency is seeking an experienced Health & Safety and Environmental Officer to support a major site relocation project in Wolverhampton. The role is permanent, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £38,000–£40,000 depending on experience.

You will oversee health and safety compliance during construction, manage contractors and inductions, and deliver staff training. NEBOSH Diploma is essential and CDM regulations knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
• NEBOSH Diploma is essential; IOSH CMIO SH preferred.
• CSCS Card required; construction site experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage contractors, permits to work and site inductions.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and H&S legislation.
• Review and update H&S policies and procedures.
• Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Deliver toolbox talks and staff training.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Maintain H&S records including RIDDOR and COSHH.
• Support fire safety and evacuation procedures.
