Groundforce is seeking a confident Hire Controller to join our busy, office‑based team in the construction equipment sector. You will handle hire requests, coordinate with depots and transport, and ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Confident communicator with a strong customer service focus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail when entering information into systems.
• Comfortable using MS Office (Outlook, Excel) and learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming calls and emails from customers with prompt, professional service.
• Process on-hire and off-hire requests with high accuracy using our hire management system.
• Prepare and issue hire quotations based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate with depots and transport to arrange deliveries, collections and exchanges.
• Maintain accurate records of customer activity and system data.
• Assist with stock checks and depot stock control processes.
• Resolve service issues or queries efficiently and escalate when needed.
