Groundforce is seeking a Hire Controller to be the main point of contact for customers, helping them hire equipment, prepare quotes, and coordinate deliveries with depots and transport teams. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work as part of a busy team.
Based in Morley, the position offers a predictable Monday–Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends and a comprehensive benefits package.
Why You'll Love Working Here Looking for a customer service role with a predictable working week? At Groundforce, our Hire Desk operates Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with no evening shifts, no weekend working (apart from two Saturday stock takes each year) and Bank Holidays off. As a Hire Controller, you will be the key point of contact for customers, helping them hire the right equipment, preparing quotations, coordinating deliveries with depots and transport teams, and ensuring every hire runs smoothly. Working as part of a supportive team, you will build relationships, solve problems and deliver excellent customer service. Whether you have experience in plant hire, customer service, logistics, transport, builders' merchants, construction, manufacturing or sales support, we can provide the training and development to help you succeed. Due to the office location and 8:00am start time, candidates should ideally be based in or around Morley, with access to a car and a full driving licence beneficial.
