Job summary

Groundforce is seeking a Hire Controller to be the main point of contact for customers, helping them hire equipment, prepare quotes, and coordinate deliveries with depots and transport teams. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work as part of a busy team.

Based in Morley, the position offers a predictable Monday–Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hire, logistics, transport, or a coordination role.
• Excellent communication skills with a confident telephone manner.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by telephone and email.
• Process equipment hire and off-hire requests using our hire management system.
• Prepare quotations and advise customers on the best solutions.
• Coordinate deliveries, collections and exchanges with depots and transport teams.
• Maintain accurate customer and hire records and monitor stock availability.
