Job summary

Groundforce is seeking a confident and organised Hire Controller to join our busy office-based team in Morley. You’ll process hire requests, coordinate with depots and transport, and ensure equipment is delivered on time and to specification.

This fast-paced role suits someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in getting the details right. A full driving licence and car access is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Excellent telephone manner and strong customer service skills.
• Experience of working in a fast paced environment.
• Basic computer literacy – MS Office/Outlook skills.
• Knowledge of G42 or other similar hire rental asset management systems advantageous.
• Knowledge of hire industry/construction advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls and emails from customers with prompt, professional service.
• Process on-hire and off-hire requests using our hire management system with accuracy.
• Prepare and issue hire quotations based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate with depots and transport to arrange equipment deliveries and exchanges.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure orders are fulfilled on time.
• Maintain accurate records of customer activity, hire information and data.
• Assist with checking product availability and depot stock control.
• Support issue resolution and escalate where required.
