Exciting Opportunity for an Estimator!

Are you an experienced Estimator with a passion for civil engineering and construction? We're seeking a talented Estimator to join our team in Leeds. This role offers the chance to work on impactful projects that benefit current and future generations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed and accurate take-offs and cost estimates for civil engineering projects, including roads, highways, drainage, and infrastructure.
• Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand project requirements and constraints.
• Prepare and submit tender documents, ensuring all necessary information is included and deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans and budgets.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Monitor project costs and progress, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in estimating within the civil engineering and construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.
