Job summary

Morris & Spottiswood Ltd in Bristol is seeking a meticulous Document Controller to join our team. You will play a key role in the successful delivery of retail sector projects, applying BS EN ISO 19650 standards to ensure information is available to the right people at the right time.

You will work with Project Delivery teams across disciplines to maintain structure, naming, metadata, and version control within the CDE, support MIDP/TIDPs, and train partners in information requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in document control roles within the construction or public sector.
• Practical experience managing a CDE aligned with BS EN ISO 19650.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as gatekeeper for project information and ensure correct naming conventions, metadata, and version control.
• Support enforcement of Information Standard and Information Production Methods and Procedures.
• Administer document workflows, approvals and permissions within CDE platforms.
• Coordinate information flows to ensure timely upload, review and publication aligned to MIDP/TIDPs.
