Job summary

Northumbrian Water Group is seeking a Commercial Manager to deliver dedicated commercial support across the assets portfolio. You will manage contracts end-to-end, monitor costs, and drive governance to protect value.

The role requires experience in construction projects, strong NEC contract knowledge, and adept stakeholder engagement. You will contribute to contract development, negotiation and administration, ensuring robust controls and clear financial reporting to leadership across delivery

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial contract management within a construction environment.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts and contract negotiation.
• Knowledge of project governance in commercial matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract agreements through their lifecycle to maximise value and minimise risk.
• Monitor real-time expenditure and compare to targets; support cost control.
• Track supplier performance against KPIs and provide financial updates to stakeholders.
• Support contract development, implementation and project delivery to improve commercial outcomes.
