Job Description:

Brief Description: Lead the construction assurance function, focusing on completion management to ensure works are delivered in line with standards and contractual requirements, emphasizing quality and supporting evidence for project completion.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Lead the completions strategy for construction.
2. Manage the TRU completions process for governance and assurance.
3. Review Inspection and Test Plans to ensure contractual and safety obligations are met.
4. Support delivery teams in adopting the completions strategy and processes.
5. Collaborate with the Programme Completions team and supply chain for consistent approaches.
6. Develop and digitalise systems/processes for insights and improvements.
7. Implement improvement plans to enhance quality assurance and continuous improvement.
8. Build relationships with suppliers and management to promote best practices.
9. Represent and present construction completions at senior meetings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in a construction assurance role.
• Construction Industry Training Board - Site Manager Safety Training Scheme or equivalent.
• Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIOB, ICE, I Railway Signal Engineers).
• Experience leading assurance inspections and managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and safety legislation.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based audit tools.
• Ability to operate effectively on-site and in an office.
• Experience in team collaboration and service improvement.
• Passion for delivery and motivating teams.
• Experience supporting safety and well-being of colleagues.
• Ability to represent oneself and the team professionally.
