Quality Assurance Manager – FRA Audits – North

Homeworking

£44,320 - £46,653 per year plus company car or car allowance

35 hours per week

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our fire compliance team, which includes 18 fire risk assessors, 5 fire project managers, and a QA Auditor. The role involves auditing and validating fire risk assessments, conducting desktop and face-to-face audits across the North, Northwest, and Scotland regions. You will also be responsible for signing off high-risk fire risk assessments.

The role includes:

  • Reviewing Fire Risk Assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory and service standards
  • Managing audit review programmes to assess performance of fire operations teams
  • Leading investigations into quality issues related to Fire Risk Assessments, analyzing root causes, and implementing resolutions
  • Developing action plans based on review outcomes to improve service delivery

Skills and experience required:

  • Level 4 diploma in fire risk assessments (minimum) and FRA validators certification
  • Experience supporting senior management administratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Teams
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload
