Job summary

Saffron Vantage Ltd. seeks a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support construction projects from design to completion.

You will work with Project Managers to ensure delivery is safe, on programme, and to a high standard of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include assisting with project delivery, attending site meetings, preparing reports and progress updates, and coordinating with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Construction-related qualification; BSc preferred but not essential.
• Experience as Assistant PM or in project management in construction.
• Good knowledge of construction processes.
• Experience with commercial and design-build projects is a plus.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence (minimum 6 months post-test).

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with delivery of projects and small works.
• Support health and safety practices and CDM on site.
• Attend site meetings with clients and professionals.
• Prepare reports, programmes, progress updates and profitability reports.
• Price and agree instructions with clients or agents.
• Contribute to valuations and final accounts.
• Assist with tender preparation and estimates.
• Procure and monitor subcontractors and suppliers.
• Produce monthly cost/value turnover forecasts.
• Attend financial and progress meetings.
• Maintain exceptional customer care standards.
