Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd in the Winchester area is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager to support the delivery of diverse construction projects from inception to completion. You will help coordinate clients, contractors, consultants and project teams, and assist in preparing programmes, reports and documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction, Project Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Open to graduate and early-career candidates with a genuine interest in construction project management.
• Previous experience within construction, consultancy or contracting would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of construction projects from inception through to completion.
• Assist with the coordination of clients, contractors, consultants and wider project teams.
• Support the preparation and management of project programmes, reports and project documentation.
• Attend project meetings, assist with recording actions and develop confidence in leading meetings as experience grows.
• Assist with feasibility studies, site surveys, investigations and other project assessments.
• Monitor contractor progress and provide updates to the wider project team.
• Develop experience in Contract Administration and Employer's Agent duties under JCT contracts.
• Work alongside experienced team members to develop into a Project Manager capable of taking ownership of projects.

Ambitious, proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and develop
