Job summary

NESO is seeking a Connections Contract Manager (Levels 6-8) to support the Connections Operations team. The role involves managing customer contracts throughout the project lifecycle and acting as the main point of contact for customers in generation and demand projects connecting to Great Britain's electricity network.

This hybrid role, with 1-2 days in the office per week, is based in Warwick, Wokingham or Glasgow.

Qualifications

• Proven contract management experience with customer agreements.
• Experience in a regulated environment.
• Strong commercial awareness; able to resolve commercial issues.
• Excellent stakeholder management across multiple projects.
• Experience handling customer complaints and case management.
• Demonstrated problem-solving delivering positive customer outcomes.
• Ability to identify and manage risks effectively; strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer contracts and agreements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as primary contact for customers; handle queries and case management.
• Identify, assess and mitigate contractual, commercial and operational risks.
• Resolve complex customer and commercial issues through problem solving.
• Build relationships across customers, project teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure contractual obligations, governance and milestones are met.
• Support multiple projects in a regulated environment.
