Job summary

QED Legal LLP in Edinburgh is looking for an experienced Conflicts Analyst to join its Risk & Compliance team. You’ll move beyond routine conflict checks and handle complex, commercially sensitive matters, working closely with lawyers and partners to navigate potential conflicts.

The role combines analytical rigor with practical guidance across the firm, supports the development of conflicts processes, and offers hybrid working (3 days in the office), a firm bonus, and professional development

Qualifications

• Previous conflicts experience within a commercial law firm (NEEDED).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Sound commercial judgement and the ability to assess risk effectively.
• Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and complex workloads.

• Conducting conflict checks for new clients and matters

We'reworking with a very well regarded national law firm that is looking to add an experienced Conflicts Analyst to its growing Risk & Compliance team in Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity to move beyond routine conflict checking and become involved in more complex, commercially sensitive matters. You’ll work closely with lawyers and partners, helping the firm navigate potential conflicts while balancing regulatory requirements with excellent client service.

The role?
