Job summary

QED Legal is seeking a Conflicts Analyst in Edinburgh for a hybrid role. You will conduct conflict checks and analyse complex results, identifying risks and advising lawyers and partners to resolve issues.

You will develop conflicts processes, mentor junior colleagues, and become a trusted subject-matter expert while balancing regulatory requirements with client service. Hybrid work 3 days in office.

Qualifications

• Previous conflicts experience within a commercial law firm (NEEDED).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Sound commercial judgement and the ability to assess risk effectively.
• Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and complex workloads.
• A collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
• Experience using Intapp and Security Policy Manager would be advantageous, but it isn't essential.

We're working with a very well regarded national law firm that is looking to add an experienced Conflicts Analyst to its growing Risk & Compliance team in Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity to move beyond routine conflict checking and become involved in more complex, commercially sensitive matters. You'll work closely with lawyers and partners, helping the firm navigate potential conflicts while balancing regulatory requirements with excellent client service.
