Job Description:

We’re expanding our team within Amazon Operations.

This role requires working from the office 5 days a week.

As a Configurations Specialist, you will play an integral role in Amazon Logistics, directly impacting how quickly parcels reach customers. You will support daily planning and forecasting to help UK Delivery Stations deliver to customers.

Key job responsibilities

• Execute network design configuration changes and coordinate with requesters
• Perform adherence reviews and coordinate changes with stations
• Analyze data, audit, and update daily checklists
• Develop, audit, and update standard work documents
• Advise the UK Delivery Station network on standard operational practices
• Mentor new joiners
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Keep the customer at the center of decisions
• Ensure targets and service deadlines are met according to regulatory requirements

A day in the life

You will communicate proactively with various departments and stakeholders, maintaining Amazon’s high service levels for customers and suppliers. You will periodically step back to view the bigger picture and research process improvements.

About the team

The Central Operations team aims to stay agile from order placement to delivery, providing seamless coordination behind the scenes.

Basic qualifications

• Relevant experience with data analysis tasks or projects
• Advanced proficiency in English (C1 CEFR)
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
