Conference & Events Manager - Hampshire

Situated in the heart of the New Forest, Beaulieu offers a versatile and unique venue for various events, including conferences, dinners, weddings, and family fun days. With attractions like Palace House, Beaulieu Abbey, and the National Motor Museum, there is something for everyone.

Beaulieu provides some of the finest meeting and event facilities on the south coast, featuring modern conference amenities, historic buildings, and unique event spaces. We cater to meetings, banquets, summer parties, and weddings.

More About The Role

As Conference & Events Manager, you will take a hands-on approach. Your duties will include:

  1. Delivering excellent service in a fast-paced C&E operation, focusing on weddings, client events, and small meetings, ensuring high standards and customer satisfaction.
  2. Working closely with the General Manager and Sales Manager.
  3. Leading, managing, training, and developing a large, variable team.
  4. Creating rotas aligned with budget and business needs to optimize staffing.
  5. Managing customer feedback and implementing action plans.
  6. Overseeing all C&E bookings, upselling, and understanding client requirements.
Who You Are

Our ideal manager will:

  1. Have experience in events and hospitality management.
  2. Have previous team management experience.
  3. Possess excellent people management and communication skills.
  4. Be highly organized.
  5. Be flexible with working hours.
  6. Have experience leading teams to achieve results.
  7. Be capable of working under pressure and multitasking.
  8. Understand P&L accounts.
