Hilton at St Georges Park Burton upon Trent is seeking a Conference & Events Assistant Manager to lead banquet operations and deliver memorable guest experiences in our renowned hospitality environment.

You’ll supervise event execution, coordinate with Food & Beverage and support teams, and nurture a welcoming atmosphere for guests and teams alike, within a world-class sporting venue.

Qualifications

• Experience in event management or hospitality operations.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent guest service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Delight guests with upbeat, friendly interactions and anticipate needs.
• Supervise execution of events: breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, galas.
• Ensure flawless event setup: linens, silverware, glassware, chinaware.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Event Services and operations teams.
• Oversee event breakdown and post-event wrap-up.
• Manage banquet staff scheduling, supervision and coaching.
• Maintain health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
• Support sporting events with large-scale dining for VIPs and teams.
