As a Conference & Events Supervisor at The Grand Hotel Birmingham, you’ll be the person who brings that to life, leading from the front and making sure every event runs smoothly from start to finish. From conferences and banquets to private dinners, you’ll be the point of contact for organisers and the motivator for the team on the floor.

What the job involves
  • Working with the Manager to lead and motivate the Conference & Events operations team, setting the pace with confidence and positivity
  • Making sure event spaces are set up correctly and ready on time
  • Acting as the main point of contact for organisers before, during and after events
  • Training and supporting the team so they deliver consistent, friendly and efficient service
  • Jumping in to cover any role in the department when needed to keep things moving
