Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK is seeking a Plant Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operation of our concrete plant. You will manage batching, stock, maintenance and safety, delivering high quality concrete and customer service.

The role is hands-on, requiring strong communication, teamwork and a proactive attitude towards Health & Safety, environment and quality standards. Training and development are provided to support your career growth.

Qualifications

• Safety-conscious, reliable and proactive with a practical approach to getting the job done.
• GCSE Maths and English (C/4 or above) or equivalent required.
• Experience in concrete, aggregates, manufacturing or industrial environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate the batching plant to produce concrete and mortar to required quality standards.
• Work closely with the Order Office, colleagues and customers to meet production requirements.
• Ensure the plant is adequately stocked with approved materials.
• Inspect incoming materials and carry out stock checks.
• Carry out routine plant inspections and maintenance.
• Maintain housekeeping standards across the plant, yard, buildings and facilities.
• Ensure safety rules are followed by employees, contractors and visitors.
