Qualifications

• Experience in concrete, aggregates, manufacturing or construction materials.
• Supervisory or plant operations background.
• Strong health, safety and environmental standards awareness.
• Good organisation and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
• Customer-focused with strong communication.
• GCSEs Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above).

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, efficient operation of the concrete plant.
• Produce high-quality concrete meeting specs.
• Coordinate daily production schedules and orders.
• Maintain housekeeping standards across site.
• Monitor stock levels for production readiness.
• Carry out inspections and maintenance checks.
• Operate batching plant and loading shovel as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement to maximise plant performance.
• Build relationships with customers and deliver excellent service.
• Promote a positive safety culture for staff and visitors.
