An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Concierge Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd, working across 3 homeless hostels in Quedgeley, Gloucester, GL2 area.

If you have an SIA Licence and are looking for a role where you will be supported and offered development opportunities, we would like to hear from you!

The Officer will provide security monitoring, mobile patrols, and safeguarding to the 3 sites. Own transport is required, and a full manual driving license is necessary as a company vehicle will be used on site.

Hours: On average 42 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. 4 on 4 off, Monday to Sunday, 18:00 - 06:00.

Pay rate: £12.21 per hour.

Person Specification

• A valid SIA licence or application in progress.
• A full five-year checkable employment history.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good judgment and professionalism.
• IT skills.
• Physically and medically fit.
• Smart appearance.
• Enthusiastic and willing to develop new skills.
• 2–5 years’ experience is advantageous.
• Ability to deal with emergency services.
• Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS, paid for by Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Act as an initial point of contact.
• Ensure overall safety and security of the premises out of hours, conduct mobile patrols.
• Respond to faults within the premises.
• Monitor access and visitors.
• Follow health and safety policies.
• Report incidents and anti-social behaviour.
• Record information effectively.
• Implement policies and procedures for service delivery.
• Promptly report concerns about clients to management.
• Report repairs to maintenance contractors.
• Consider culture and diversity issues, report any discrimination.
