Job Description:

• You will support the Head of Safeguarding, Wellbeing and Health to ensure Hartpury fulfils its statutory duties regarding safeguarding children and adults at risk.
• You will collaborate with internal teams and external agencies.
• You will provide practical support and assistance to staff raising concerns, and deliver training workshops and awareness sessions.
• You will have line management responsibility for some staff in the Wellbeing and Residential Support Team.
• This role requires sharing the 24/7 safeguarding phone with the Head of Safeguarding, Wellbeing and Health.

About You

• Hold a minimum of a Safeguarding Level 3 qualification.
• Extensive experience working with young people in appropriate settings.
• Experience managing a demanding caseload and working with external agencies.
• Passionate about supporting young people to succeed and overcome challenges.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with students and adults.
