Job summary

ALPINE F1 Team has an opportunity within the Composites Department as a Composite Technician – Assembly & Trimming on a fixed term contract until the end of 2027, on our night shift. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of our composite manufacturing operation, playing a crucial role in the final stages of producing high-performance components for our Formula 1 race cars.

Qualifications

• Proven experience trimming, assembling, and finishing composite components.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and trim instructions.
• Experience with adhesives and bonding processes.
• Experience in motorsport or high-performance engineering is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Trimming, assembling and finishing composite components to drawings and specs.
• Carrying out bond preparation activities and working with aerospace-grade adhesives.
• Ensuring all parts meet dimensional and cosmetic standards.
• Maintaining quality and productivity in line with department targets.
• Identifying and reporting non-conformances and collaborating across departments.
• Following health, safety, environmental and quality requirements and housekeeping standards.
