James Kirby Associates Ltd is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a background in composite materials for an established aerospace manufacturer. You will develop, improve and support manufacturing processes across composite components, ensuring efficiency and quality.

Working with Design, Production and Quality teams, you will lead process trials and continuous improvement, contribute to new product introductions and help drive cost and waste reduction.

Qualifications

• Experience in composites manufacturing environments.
• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aerospace engineering.
• Strong understanding of carbon fibre and advanced composites.

Responsabilités

• Develop, improve and support composite manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with Design, Production and Quality to ensure quality standards.
• Lead process trials, validation and root cause investigations.
• Produce work instructions, process sheets and engineering standards.
• Identify opportunities for new composite technologies.
