Job summary

iCOMAT is recruiting a Composite Manufacturing Engineer to drive build-to-print components from design through production. You will create routings, BoMs, and detailed MoMs, ensuring quality and safety standards are met while collaborating with design and tooling teams.

The role requires practical composite manufacturing knowledge, CAD proficiency (SolidWorks/Composer), and Lean/Six Sigma skills, with opportunities to advance in a fast-growing aerospace material company in Swindon.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of composite manufacture and processing essential.
• Understanding of AS9100 and aerospace quality control.
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks and Composer).
• Lean manufacturing and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Take build-to-print components through the production phase.
• Create routings, BoMs, and step-by-step work instructions.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• Review production data and drive quality and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with Tooling Design for requirements and PFMEAs.
