Job summary

Prospec Associates is seeking an experienced composite laminator for an urgent F1 project. The role covers laminating high-performance components, reading engineering drawings, laying up pre-preg carbon fibre, and maintaining equipment, with mixed day, night and weekend shifts.

This contract is outside IR35 and requires a proven motorsport background and strong attention to detail to deliver on tight deadlines and high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a composite laminator in F1, motorsport or automotive sectors.
• Strong background working with pre-preg materials.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Laminating and manufacturing high-performance composite components.
• Work from engineering drawings and lay-up manuals to exact specifications.
• Prepare, lay up, and cure pre-preg carbon fibre.
• Keep all equipment maintained.
• Meet delivery targets for customers while upholding quality standards.

My client, a leading supplier of composite components to F1 and motorsport requires an experienced composite laminator for an urgent F1 project.

This is a contract role outside IR35.

Day shifts, night shifts and weekend shifts available

Responsibilities

• Laminating and manufacturing high-performance composite components.


• Working from engineering drawings and lay-up manuals to exact specifications


• Preparing, laying up, and curing pre-preg carbon fibre


• Keep all equipment maintained


• Meet delivery targets for customers while maintaining high quality standards
