Job summary

McLaren Racing’s Composite Laminating Team is recruiting for multiple roles to support the build of the 2027 Formula One car at McLaren Racing Composites (MRC). These positions focus on producing high-performance composite parts and assemblies for our F1 team.

Key accountabilities include production of car components, laminating, mould preparation, manufacture and maintenance, operation of autoclaves, and safe working practices. You will also Prove support to other teams as workload dictates.

Qualifications

• Experience as a skilled laminator in motorsport or aerospace is preferable.
• Proactive, self-motivated and uses initiative.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Good communication skills with clear information sharing.

We are recruiting for multiple roles within our Composite Laminating Team to support the build of McLaren Racing’s 2027 Formula One car. These positions are based at McLaren Racing Composites (MRC) and will focus on the production of high-performance composite parts and assemblies for our F1 team.

• Laminating components
• Mould preparation, manufacture and maintenance
• Operation of autoclaves
• Work in a safe manner and to prescribed process
• Prove support to other teams as work load dictates

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Skilled composite laminator – previous experience in motorsport (especially F1) or aerospace is preferable
• Proactive, self-motivated and uses initiative, looks for the next task and offers solutions to problems
• High level of attention to detail
• Good communication skills – uses accurate and clear communication and demonstrates when information is understood
