Job description

We are seeking a Compliance Team Manager to join our Renewals and Logistics team. This department is responsible for undertaking audits, identifying areas of improvement, and ensuring compliance with Thames Water’s asset standards and contract requirements. The manager will lead the team to meet these requirements.

To proactively engage with the business to assist with improvements in contract and asset compliance.

What you’ll be doing as a Compliance Team Manager
  1. Team Management - Responsible for a team of 9.
  2. Identifying areas for improvement with recommended solutions developed and assisting relevant departments with implementation.
  3. Working closely with Contract & Operational Managers to drive performance and improvements.
  4. Undertaking regular report creation and distribution.

This role is a Hybrid position based out of Clearwater Court, Reading.

This position is a Fixed Term Contract until July 2026, maternity cover.

Working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What you should bring to the role
  • Experience in People Management
  • Process management & improvement skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels – facilitation, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Self-motivated and analytical with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in Clean Water is desirable
