Assistant Team Manager - Together For Families

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for an Assistant Team Manager within the Together For Families Team, based in Reading.

The salary for this role is up to £52,662 per annum.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide leadership and professional support to colleagues and other professionals in high-complexity situations.
  2. Apply extensive knowledge of practice, theory, and legislation to enhance practice, procedures, and policies, promoting innovation and new ways of working.
  3. Utilize critical reasoning to model and facilitate reflective, evidence-informed practice.
  4. Support professional decision-making to enable discerning assessment procedures.
  5. Maintain expertise in specialist assessment and intervention, supporting skill development in others.
  6. Model effective risk assessment and management, including positive risk-taking.
  7. Lead safeguarding efforts collaboratively with senior team members.
  8. Support resolution of practice concerns.
  9. Manage a team or area, providing organization, direction, and development.
  10. Offer professional support, advice, and supervision.
  11. Monitor and support team performance and development through coaching.
  12. Handle complaints and verify assessments when needed.
  13. Promote positive relationships within and across teams and with external partners.
  14. Lead organizational change and address performance issues.
  15. Ensure compliance with data quality legislation.
  16. Monitor and manage budgets, funding, and resources in line with policies.
Minimum Requirements:
  • A social work qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Registration with Social Work England.
