Job description

We are seeking a Compliance Team Manager to join our Renewals and Logistics team. This department is responsible for undertaking audits, identifying areas of improvement, and ensuring compliance with Thames Water’s asset standards and contract requirements. The manager will lead the team to meet these requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing a team of 9 members.
  2. Identifying improvement areas, developing solutions, and assisting departments with implementation.
  3. Collaborating with Contract & Operational Managers to enhance performance.
  4. Creating and distributing regular reports.

This is a Hybrid role based out of Clearwater Court, Reading. It is a Fixed Term Contract until July 2026, maternity cover. The role involves working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Ideal candidates will bring:

  • Experience in People Management
  • Process management & improvement skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills, including facilitation, negotiation, and influencing
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Self-motivation, analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • Experience in Clean Water (desirable)

Benefits include:

  • Salary between £42,000 to £46,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • 26 days holiday, increasing to 30 with service, plus bank holidays
