Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Compliance Team Leader at our Head Office in Birmingham. You will lead the compliance team, drive targets, and ensure high standards of safeguarding and vetting. The role involves managing onboarding audits, guiding the team, and implementing changes when new legislation comes into force.

• Solid understanding of Compliance in a fast paced, vetted industry.

Responsibilities

• Managing the compliance team, including providing support, absence management, discipline and grievance, and recruitment activities.
• Effectively setting out goals and objectives for the team to ensure targets and KPIs are met.
• Giving guidance, training and pipeline targets for the team.
• Leading and motivating the compliance team and ensure consultants meet their potential.
• Managing all process changes when new legislation comes into force in line with safeguarding and compliance changes.
• Managing the candidate onboarding audit process across the business to ensure high standards of compliance are met in line with our audit accreditation.

Hours: 7.30am- 4pm/ 8:15- 4.45pm/ 9am-5.30pm (weekly rotation)

The role of Compliance Team Leader:

• Managing the compliance team, including providing support, absence management, discipline and grievance, and recruitment activities.

Experience needed:

• Solid understanding of Compliance in a fast paced, vetted industry (ideally)
