Job summary

Tristone Nash is recruiting a Compliance Surveyor on an 18-month fixed term contract within a leading housing provider. The role covers surveys, compliance programmes, and building safety across the housing stock, with hybrid working and one day in the office per week.

You will perform PCFRA assessments, maintain records, identify non-compliance, advise on remedial actions, and collaborate with contractors to meet statutory requirements and timescales.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in compliance/surveying.
• Experience in housing, property compliance or similar.
• Good understanding of statutory compliance and building safety.

Responsibilities

• Undertake compliance surveys and inspections across the housing stock, ensuring properties meet relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and monitor compliance programmes, identifying risks, deficiencies and required remedial actions.
• Complete PCFRAs (Property Compliance Fire Risk Assessments) and ensure actions are appropriately recorded and followed through.
• Support the management and development of TIO - the organisation's digital block passport, ensuring building information is accurate and up to date.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and ensure all relevant evidence is captured.
• Identify and report areas of non-compliance, providing recommendations and supporting remedial works.
• Work closely with contractors and internal teams to ensure compliance works are delivered to the required standards and timescales.
• Provide technical advice and support on property compliance, risk and building safety matters.
• Contribute to audits, inspections, reporting and assurance activities.
• Keep up to date with relevant legislation, regulation and best practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified compliance professional to play a key role in ensuring homes and buildings meet all relevant statutory, regulatory and safety requirements.

About You

We are looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Compliance Surveyor with experience within housing, property compliance or a related environment.

You will have a good understanding of statutory compliance, building safety and risk management, with the ability to undertake inspections, identify risks and provide clear technical advice.
