Niyaa People Ltd in Derby is hiring a Compliance Officer for a flexible hybrid role with weekly pay and the potential to go permanent. You will support the compliance team across multiple sites, ensuring adherence to health and safety, fire safety and environmental regulations.

Key duties include routine inspections, maintaining accurate compliance records and coordinating with external contractors to ensure timely, compliant works.

Competenze

• Experience working within a social housing setting in a similar role.
• Experience with Excel, Word and in house databases.
• Knowledge of the compliance requirements.

You will be working for a well-known contractor that values not only their tenants but every stakeholder within the business, ensuring attention to detail, collaboration and a commitment to maintaining high levels of compliance.

As the Compliance Officer you will be:

• Compliance Checks: Conduct routine inspections and compliance checks at various sites to ensure adherence to health and safety, fire safety, and environmental regulations
• Documentation and Records: Accurately complete and maintain compliance documentation. Update records and systems to reflect the current compliance status of all properties
• Contractor Coordination: Collaborate with external contractors to ensure timely completion of compliance works and cyclical maintenance. Verify adherence to safety standards and contract terms
• Customer Service: Handle inquiries and complaints from tenants, councillors, and the public regarding compliance matters. Arrange appointments and address concerns while maintaining high standards of service

Qualifications the Compliance Officer will need:

• Experience working within a social housing setting in a similar role.
• Experience with Xcel, word and in house databases
• Knowledge of the compliance requirements

What you will receive as the Compliance Officer :

• Hourly rate between 22- 25, dependent on experience
• Flexible working
• On going contract, with the potential to be extended and to go permanent
