Compliance Manager (12 month contract), London

This role at Colt involves developing and executing compliance frameworks, supporting training and awareness, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure regulatory adherence. The position reports to the VP, ESG & Compliance, and is based in the UK with a hybrid setup.

Responsibilities include:

1. Implementing industry best practice compliance methodologies
2. Developing compliance tools and playbooks
3. Building relationships with stakeholders
4. Collaborating with legal, risk, audit, and operational teams
5. Supporting compliance training and awareness campaigns
6. Monitoring regulatory developments
7. Providing compliance advice to teams
8. Developing compliance reports for leadership
9. Identifying opportunities for process improvements

Ideal candidate profile:

Experience:

• Degree in business, finance, legal, or related field
• Recognized compliance qualification (e.g., ICA)
• Over 3 years in compliance roles, preferably in telecommunications
• Experience with compliance frameworks and regulatory environments

Skills:

• Analytical, strategic thinking, and excellent communication
• Knowledge of governance and risk frameworks (COBIT, COSO, SOX)
• Ability to develop compliance policies and conduct risk assessments
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
