Senior Compliance Analyst – PE-Backed MGA | Insurance (Lloyd’s Experience Preferred)

IDEX Consulting are exclusively partnered with an MGA who are looking for a Senior Compliance Analyst to work closely with our Head of Compliance in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This is an opportunity to be part of a business that values collaboration, agility, and smart regulatory thinking.

You’ll be involved in a wide range of compliance activity – from advising the business on regulatory matters to delivering effective oversight and supporting strategic initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into a senior role without people management but with real ownership and influence across the business.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and execution of a risk-based, proportionate risk and compliance strategy.
• Support the ongoing development and implementation of compliance frameworks, including policies, procedures, controls, and training.
• Provide pragmatic, commercially aware regulatory advice and guidance.
• Respond to regulatory queries and liaise with the FCA, Lloyd’s, and other relevant bodies.
• Lead and support on both compliance-led and business-driven projects.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business.
• Oversee remediation of compliance breaches and strengthen controls to prevent recurrence.
• Conduct routine, risk-based monitoring of business activities.
• Support complaints handling, root cause analysis, and customer journey improvements where needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience in a compliance role within the insurance sector – Lloyd’s market experience highly desirable.
• Excellent understanding of UK regulatory expectations (FCA, PRA, Lloyd’s).
• A self-starter with sound judgment, attention to detail, and a solutions-driven mindset.
• Experience advising senior stakeholders and contributing to business-wide projects.
• Comfortable working in a scaling, agile environment where your ideas and input will shape how things are done.
