Job summary

ISOQAR, a UKAS-accredited certification body based in Manchester, seeks a Compliance Lead to maintain and enhance our compliance framework across audits, accreditation assessments, corrective actions and reporting.

You will work with the Director of Risk & Compliance and cross‑functional teams to ensure conformity with accreditation, regulatory and internal requirements, with a pragmatic, evidence‑led approach. The role offers a hybrid work pattern in Manchester.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in a certification body, accreditation environment or similar compliance role.
• Practical knowledge of ISO/IEC 17021-1 and management-system certification.
• Auditing, corrective actions and root-cause analysis demonstrated.
• Risk assessment and risk-based assurance familiarity.
• Ability to interpret standards and regulatory criteria clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support the internal audit programme and report findings.
• Coordinate accreditation assessments and responses to findings.
• Maintain compliance policies, records and documentation.
• Provide guidance on certification and conformity requirements.
• Track and escalate significant compliance risks.
