Job summary

ISOQAR in Manchester, UK is seeking a Compliance Manager to lead the organisation's compliance framework and management system. You will work with senior stakeholders to ensure accreditation, regulatory and internal requirements are met, and manage audits, actions and competence across the business.

The role emphasizes governance, risk-based decision making and continuous improvement, with a hybrid workplace policy and a focus on professional development for teams.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in an accredited certification or governance role.
• At least five years’ experience in compliance, quality, accreditation or assurance.
• Experience leading compliance, quality or internal assurance programmes.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17021-1 and management-system certification.
• Experience coordinating accreditation assessments and handling findings.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the compliance function in line with priorities.
• Develop the annual compliance plan and improvement priorities.
• Translate requirements into practical business controls.
• Provide expert advice to senior stakeholders and assess risks.
• Oversee internal audits, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead readiness for accreditation assessments and responses to findings.
• Develop and maintain competence framework and governance across functions.
• Monitor impartiality, complaints and investigations, ensuring documentation.
• Analyse trends and reporting for governance forums.
