As a Compliance Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring that our Doctors, Nurses and AHPs are fully compliant and appropriately cleared before they are placed into work.
You will manage the compliance process from obtaining initial documentation through to final clearance, ensuring that all required checks are completed accurately, efficiently and within the required timescales.
You will work closely with healthcare professionals, Recruitment Consultants, our Medical Team and clients to ensure we continue to meet the high standards expected by our NHS clients and healthcare frameworks.
This is a busy and varied role where accuracy, organisation, communication and attention to detail are essential.
In addition to your basic salary, you will have the opportunity to earn a monthly performance-related bonus.
The bonus is linked to the number of healthcare professionals you successfully take through the compliance process and who become fully compliant and actively working.
Your performance will therefore directly contribute to your earning potential, with the opportunity to increase your monthly bonus by successfully getting more candidates fully compliant and working.
You don't need to know everything from day one.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure you understand our systems, processes, frameworks and the "Pertemps Medical way" of working.
We are looking for someone who already has a strong understanding of the healthcare recruitment environment and is keen to develop their compliance knowledge.
You will receive training on our internal compliance processes and standards, including the requirements relevant to the healthcare professionals we place.
You will also be supported by an experienced Compliance Team while developing your knowledge of NHS frameworks, healthcare compliance and audit requirements.
What matters most is that you are organised, proactive, willing to learn and committed to getting things right.
Previous healthcare compliance experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Experience or knowledge of any of the following would also be beneficial:
Able to manage a busy workload, prioritise effectively and keep on top of multiple candidate files.
Able to spot errors, inconsistencies and missing information and understands the importance of getting compliance right.
Someone who takes ownership of outstanding requirements and actively progresses candidates rather than waiting to be asked.
Comfortable communicating with healthcare professionals and challenging or escalating issues where necessary.
Able to work under pressure, manage deadlines and remain professional in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to support colleagues and contribute positively to the wider Compliance and Recruitment Teams.
Understands the importance of confidentiality, GDPR and handling sensitive candidate information appropriately.
Open to training, feedback and developing their knowledge of healthcare compliance.
Understands that compliance is about more than simply collecting documents. It is about ensuring healthcare professionals are appropriately checked, compliant and safe to work.
This is an opportunity to join an established healthcare recruitment business and develop your career within a specialist healthcare compliance function.
You will have the opportunity to build your knowledge of NHS healthcare compliance, frameworks and audit requirements, while receiving full training and support from an experienced team.
You will also have the opportunity to earn a monthly performance bonus based on your success in getting healthcare professionals fully compliant and working.
Most importantly, you will play a key role in ensuring that the Doctors, Nurses and AHPs we place are appropriately checked, compliant and ready to work safely within NHS and healthcare settings.
If you have at least one year's healthcare recruitment experience, are highly organised, have excellent attention to detail and want to develop your career in healthcare compliance, we would love to hear from you.
