Job summary

Sanctuary Group is seeking a Compliance Caretaker for the North Estate Services team, based in Liverpool. You will test fire alarms, ELT and water tests across schemes and sites in the area. The role is lone working and requires a self-motivated mindset with good Excel skills.

The package includes a salary of £26,442–£27,833 per year, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, plus benefits such as pension, life assurance, and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or completing similar tasks.
• Practical experience operating hand tools and light machinery.
• Some experience working to deadlines and prioritising workloads.
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
• Good communication and customer service skills with an excellent work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Carry out risk assessments to identify and report any potential maintenance issues to ensure a safe environment is maintained and to support planned maintenance programmes
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and used in line with policies and procedures and relevant regulations, reporting faults, hazards and inappropriate practice promptly, to ensure a safe living and working environment
• Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed to meet organisational standards
• The role is lone working and may involve driving on company business using a company vehicle
