Job summary

Sanctuary Group is seeking a Compliance Caretaker for Acorn Business Park in Liverpool. The role involves testing fire alarms, ELT and water systems across sites, plus grounds maintenance and related tasks performed mostly on a lone basis to support safe living environments.

You will conduct risk assessments, maintain records, and ensure tools are kept in good condition in line with safety policies. A UK driving licence is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or tasks.
• Practical experience using hand tools and light machinery.
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads.
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
• Good communication and customer service with a strong work ethic.
• Full UK driving licence required for company vehicle duties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fire alarms, ELT, and water tests across sites.
• Carry out risk assessments to identify and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition per policies; report faults.
• Provide accurate progress updates and maintain daily records.
