Job summary

Axion Capital Ltd is seeking a compliance-focused professional to support regulatory licensing in crypto-related activities. You will draft policies, manage license obligations, and liaise with regulators to ensure full compliance.

Senior candidates may be considered for leadership roles. The role offers a hybrid London location with flexible work-from-home options and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Experience regulating payments, digital currencies, and finance companies is essential.
• Professional AML or compliance certificates are required.
• Ability to interface with regulators and manage regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with obtaining operational licenses in jurisdictions of interest.
• Draft, review, update and design effective processes and policies.
• Coordinate, process, and monitor license obligations.
• Assist with audits and reviews from a compliance perspective.
• Advise on compliance requirements for licenses including laws and marketing rules.
• Communicate with regulators to secure approvals and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Implement changes to align with business strategy while staying compliant.
• Undertake AML tasks such as KYB & KYC screening and update policies.

Job description

Role Duties:

• Assist the team in obtaining operational licenses in jurisdictions of interest
• Draft, review, update and design effective processes and policies
• Coordinate, process, and monitor license obligations
• Assist the team in performing audits and reviews from a compliance perspective
• Advise on the compliance requirements for the license, including awareness of technical and marketing requirements, and applicable laws relevant to operating
• Communicate effectively and develop strong relationships with regulatory authorities for approvals and to ensure the company meets regulatory requirements
• Implement changes and procedures in line with business strategy that allow the markets to grow while remaining compliant with regulatory requirements
• Undertake day-to-day AML tasks such as KYB & KYC screening and maintenance of associated policies/procedures.

What we need from you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Political Sciences, or a related field (University degree is not essential if compensated with relevant experience)
• Relevant experience in regulation of payment, digital currencies and finance companies is essential
• Business level English proficiency (written and oral) is required
• Professional certificates in AML or compliance are required
• Proficiency in managing regulatory requirements and interfacing with regulators
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional analytical capabilities
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• A finance-oriented mindset and passion for innovation in the industry are highly valued attributes
• Experienced candidates will be considered for a Senior title.

• Salary/Wage: £200-£240 per hour [Depending on experience and qualifications]
